....and may I add, how we got to where we are within the scope of the block chain concept of one thing leading to another. The scope of the blockchain is immutable truth. As blockchain is applied to more legacy conceptual abstract structures as well as connected to real physical things then is it therefore reasonable to conclude that the magnitude of immutable truth grows and its progress is found in the history of the blockchain to its current point of growth?
In others, we find or by consensus agree on more things with a higher degree of truthiness today approaching absolute truth than we did yesterday. Blockchain cuts the legacy system friction in getting to a truthier state through technology.
More truth is better but what is the truth of the blockchain. From the legal standpoint lawyers are examining that in their problem domain of truth. How admissible will blockchain evidence be? Is it hearsay? Will the legacy law system always be the court of last resort, the final word beyond blockchain when it comes down to judgment?
With this (perhaps) strange preface I want to launch into thinking about the problem domain of AI deep learning based on crowdsourcing. The crowd being what everyone believes and its relationship to immutable evidence. That is a challenge! What may AI deep learning technology applied to what we all think we believe as some conceptual truth tell us? What we all believe now is a function of a figurative blockchain that is cultural rather than in the domain of the intelligence of the machines that we have created. However, we are approaching a point where AI deep learning, learning from us and observance of what we do, is going to make formula decisions based on conceptual frameworks regarded as truth based. For example: All men are created equal. Crowd source that!
Religion, science, politics philosophy, knowledge are all broadly blockchain advancement based on expansion of the scope of things believed to be true. The legacy system of documentation is natural language. Story telling blockchain, implemented in memory of the mind expressed in natural language, print, artificial languages to store and express math, music, etc.....to the extent that we now have Artificial Intelligence because we have invested in in our machines that are learning from us.
Blockchain establishes immutable truth in a public ledger. Its future application is to a multitude of real and social conceptual things in our world. If truth was light then this is a new dawn of increased light, decreased dark. More things on the blockchain every day. It becomes more of an operating system as well as an application.
Applying Deep Learning AI to thrash out the intelligence of crowdsourced truth fact/beliefs difficult thing. Something that would make scientists out of Social Science? Much truth to be discovered!
The concept of patterns is based on a "this thing is like that thing to a measured degree"....or not as the case may be.
This is going somewhere and when I figure out where then I will return if I do not get lost on the way.
The motivating thought was to pick some concept that was difficult for people, the crowdsource to comprehend beyond their belief about it. Then apply AI deep learning of crowdsource thinking expressed by natural language to establish the start point baseline. Whatever that may be. Then turn the AI machine deep learning into AI machine deep teaching if there is a substantial difference between what people believe and the truth of reason and logic that a machine product.
Its kinda cloudy but I see some faces in the clouds here, some shadows on the wall.
A thought: Time is a blockchain public ledger that we did the best we could to document events as states in time over history. The best we could do capturing events in real time and recording them over time has advanced rapidly. Some live stream events over historical time are more important than others. What was recorded in history tells us what was considered important to record, establish in the record as some degree of documented truth. Or the intentional avoidance of documentation which may be a thing that grows in some measurable degree of relationship to the ability to apply modern methods of documentation of events in the blockchain time line that increasingly limits the ability to rewrite history.
The concept of blockchain documentation of true facts on a public ledger could be viewed as a threat to some segments of our society. Irrefutable documentation not only establishes a fact but also associates it to legal and moral accountability.
