I added these six paragraphs at the top beginning of the blog that would otherwise have been post script conclusions of meaning discovery at the bottom. A post script that tells in hindsight the real reason for the beginning that was not written on the wall at the start.....because I did not see it. Kinda like post dream analysis to learn what it was really all about.
My grandson is preparing university applications. He said he thinks he wants to study and learn foreign languages. Our own Natural Language is as foreign and unexplored as the depths of the ocean. Extending our Natural Language ability as a tool to explore the depths and reveal them to ourselves is what the Information Age is doing for our benefit...or not.... is what we call Artificial Language. It is only "Artificial" to the extent that it is not yet in the general "Natural Language" domain that is generally spoken. It is not an "Artificial Language" in the relatively small domain of those that are Naturally Conversant in it.
Andrew's future can go anywhere. With his ability and intelligence I am excited about where it might go that I will never be around to see. I can only be a spark that may ignite the fire of a rocket to the moon. What follows is a look at the rocket, the adventure of it and perhaps the dawning of an idea that he might board it and ride it to exciting places.
He won't see this post script moved to the top. What follows is something that I hope to explore as a potential adventure in a conceptual world as well as a real world wherever it may take him in the future.
Obviously, it is a dream interpretation of dreaming about Turbo Tax and Artificial Intelligence. A strange thing to dream about! It has nothing directly to do with Turbo Tax but everything to do with an exceptionally abstract conceptual view of the meaning of the waking DreamWorld/ThoughtWorld connection that creation of things come from.
I have climbed a tree to get to the moon. At this point I am at the top and from that vantage point all I might have left is wisdom to rest, look around and maybe say something about what I see as taller to climbing adventures for which I was born too soon.

My first thought on waking this morning: Getting coffee is a background function that runs like brething. I don't have to think about that. It just happens. It is interesting to look at where a computational Turbo Tax system Algorithm interfaces with Human Intelligence that designed the algorithm based on a Requirements Statement derived from Tax Law sources.
Tax Law is coded in Natural Language. Human Intelligence was applied to reading Tax Law Code.
That code has been written in Narrative Form that has progressed over the History of Law
that has applied Human Intelligence to structuring a Domain Specific categorical Social System that formalizes the Political relationship of a Citizen to a designated Country.
Our Tax Law Legacy System has become increasingly Complex over time. It is currently written as (=) Title 26 Internal Revenue Code of the US Code. It is organized topically, into subtitles and sections, covering income tax (see Income tax in the United States), payroll taxes, estate taxes, gift taxes, and excise taxes; as well as procedure and administration. Its implementing agency is the Internal Revenue Service.
Title 26 Internal Revenue Code is organized in a Design Pattern.
There are many different organizational Design Patterns. Title 26 is organized using a Topic Design Pattern .
The Legacy System used an evolving Design Pattern Ontology based on Chapter,
The Legacy System has evolved to its current state of (example) Design Pattern Organization that is an application of Information Age Technology.

I'll end this blog entry at this point where it goes ballistic in complexity beyond Artificial Intelligence to figure out the meaning. I will end it in the same amusing and creative way that Bruce Thomas ended his MetaSausage blog entry in the previous paragraph. It brings my blog entry back to the unstated original purpose to illustrate that Artificial Intelligence is simply a continuing extension of Human Intelligence. More specifically practitioners of High Level abstractions of Human Intelligence applied to Information Age Systems that are increasingly figuring things out for us.
Thomas R Bruce, the author of the prior link returned to the surface of a deep dive in an Artificial Intelligence vehicle into an unknown and dreadful domain called the US Code by returning to the surface with this Human Intelligence summation of what it looked like! It is as seemingly unconnected to what preceded in his blog entry but....like my dream....totally related in the abstract conceptual domain we call Human Intelligence that creates something new from out of (seemingly) NoWhere.

Artificial Intelligence will never comprehend this level of Human Intelligence Abstraction. It is what makes our Intelligence unique and.....forever superior? Artificial Intelligence that we create ultimately helps us learn the folly of our ways?......and gives us the opportunity to correct the follies that do not benefit us.
