Terry talks about the heightened responsibility of the designers of AI systems for the application of the things they design. The solution to resolving that responsibility is to be involved with all the stakeholders in the problem domain. I see that as common sense....difficult when so many of the stakeholders have "ownership" of the stake on the foundation of money measurement terms. Non-monetary based "ownership" interest is more difficult to support legitimate "standing" status in a problem domain dominated by money metrics as a primary decision making tool. Social interests may have a monetary price tag or cost tag attached but what is the coin of the realm when it comes to quality of life?
Perhaps the political role of AI is to establish a social monetary unit unit of value based on reason and logic of which there is an unlimited supply that is non-debt based??

The Scream! I Hear You Yves And Feel your Pain
I devote a substantial amount of time to looking at and thinking about conceptual structures, mostly social, in the contextual framework of the most fundamental discrete granular unit instance of its collective class. I think slow and act slower. I am not exceptionally intelligent but I can see a picture of a connected ontology of things and their actions that is fairly well described by the Object Orientation Paradigm of the Information Age.
Money is a social conceptual thing. This blog devotes much of its time to creating a conceptual architecture of what the monetary operating system should be and what it should do in terms of its application programs. Defining or understanding what that monetary system actually is and does in current reality and why get just enough of my time to conclude that it is all screwed up as a function the motivation of collective self interest of the few that designed it to operate for their narrow benefit at the expense of the common good.
The monetary system is simply one operating system and application programs that is an example of narrow category private self interest at the expense of the common good.
Every conceptual social system shares the same fundamental object oriented model of operating system and application program development. Deep diving into any big system enlightens the understanding of all the other big systems. Money was my point of entry to the problem domain. Call anything a problem and I want to fix it. The bigger the problem the greater the challenge. I tend to be a lone warrior to attack it.
Any battle requires about 98% preparation prior to 2% engagement to produce an elegant victory. I define elegant as inducing the enemy to defeat itself. Set it up and watch the problem domain defeat itself and out of its demise rise like a phoenix in a paradigm sift from its own ashes.
Normally the whole thing is more of a standard 80% preparation and 20% engagement situation but victory at that ratio is neither fast nor elegant and relies on crude objects and actions that create a bloody mess force a shift to a new system by revolution that takes time and carries baggage from the past unlike paradigm shift that is relatively instantaneous and carries no baggage to the new paradigm. Kind of like dying into the supernatural state.
Attaining heaven on earth takes a little longer transition and is never as perfect as the paradigm shift to the everlasting. We are mortal and create the best conceptual systems we can to serve ourselves collectively through the creation of a conceptual system by a very few of us. Some of those systems are extremely self serving of the individual others are altruistic and self sacrificing.
Those conceptual systems?
Our big ones:
Religion, Politics, Nations, Money, etc. Rule of thumb: Any physical or conceptual operating system is decomposed from a binary relationship of 2 things to 8 to 12 related components of what those two binary things are as a single entity. Each of those has its 8 to 12 subsets.
Money is mathematical. Easy to define and decompose in accordance with highly structure rules from the top down or assembled from the bottom up into a Monetary System. What money is and does became a twisted system that controls and feeds on the common good to serve the the few. In other words the current monetary system defies reason and logic to produce a highly sub-optimized result. Easy to fix. Simply endow Money with an positive object identity without any associated life long debt counter part that is required by system design to create money. Debt by design is not component of the operating system by an application program of the system.
A conceptual social system that I have avoided because it is simply to daunting to attempt to tackle and redesign to serve us all is the health care system. The one that directly serves us all the most.....physically or more in the purely conceptual domain (maybe not considering nature/nurture) of mental health. Ultimately a life and death matter physically, quality of life mentally.
Living is a big thing to us. It is a presence/absence relationship thing. Individually and collectively. More important than money! Money however is one of the big components of our health care operating system and its application programs because the thing called money is our social decision making tool. A tool we create for our decision making use at the granular level of an discrete individual person or the collective level of all of us that live and breath.

The Health Care Operating System must be restructured in order for it to deliver what we need to serve us as a function of its application programs.
The Health Care System Problem Domain has the same look and feel as the Monetary System Problem Domain. The two are inter-related. Both serve us from life until death. Both are structured Operating Systems that by their design determine that nature of their Application Programs. Each is a conceptual decision making tool that has real world application that requires an Operation System Revision to support better Application Programs.
What would be the architecture of the Revise Health Care Operating System?
That's a Problem Domain that screams out for attention.....Self serving of my investment of time if I can change it......too late for me.......but some apple trees are planted to grow results that the planter will never taste.
Maybe the planter operates on a Pay It Forward Debt Based Operating System to repay the future for what was received in the past?

In a related way (that only I can probably see in a relational way) maybe this this is what a slow motion paradigm shift looks like. (I know..that is a paradox..but in a conceptual world all things are possible). It is motivated purely by individual self interest of the few that have enough money to be of self interest to themselves to be worth the converting of debt based money to positive based debt free money called BitCoin or less liquid positive based debt free (maybe leveraged) money-like real things.
A paradigm shift from debt based money to debt free money is a big thing. The entire operating system structure changes to a BlockChain accounting base as well as the fundamental nature of the creation of money itself free of a debt counter party for its existence.
I have always felt that when it happens it would be in China. The US has lost a leadership role in the Monetary Operating System design and function as well as the Health Care System design and function. We will always cling to our Military Might leadership role to defend the debt based dollar that is a more important base essential to our conceptual existence than the energy of oil until our weapons are pried from our cold dead hands or they skin by virtual of skinning ourselves. Or perhaps more accurately we allowed a few that benefited the most from a rigged self serving system at the expense of the common good. In the end well all get skinned. A few Chinese with big money might flee or have their capital flee to the debt based last refuge of a failed debt based monetary system of the USA but they must surely follow. A billion Chinese with little money will remain in China and convert to a debt free BlockChain monetary system that will be adopted by the entire world.

Artificial Intelligence is moving out of playing in the domain of Application Programs and into the domain of Operating Systems that conceptually and structurally are not understood by human beings that were previously in control of Operating System design and introduced into it their own narrow self serving interest. Of course they fear an Operating System designed by an Artificial Intelligence because it is better than the intelligence employed by a few to serve themselves ahead of the common good.
It is like times in history when system slaves more intelligent and numerous than their masters were no longer content to be the Application Programs of a master's self serving Operating System and created a better one of their own based on self evident truth, reason and logic. The masters of their own Operating System lost control because they saw as a feature of the system what was really a fundamental inherent kernel bug logic failure to support purpose that would force a system re-design.
Perhaps it is ironic that the leading, bleeding edged AI based operating systems and application programs in the warfare domain of dealing death and destruction most effectively and efficiently become the model for the development of better systems of governance to deliver the benefits of a better life and environment to live it in for all of us?

Deep State - Information Asymmetry - Intelligence
It seems that the title term of this blog entry is appearing more often as I roam the World Wide Web of information related to current world events. It seems to have conceptual relationship to "Shadow Banking". Relationship to the extent that it is the core of an Alt -Operating System behind the curtain that is responsible for what we perceive to be visible public known and acknowledged Operating System.
Deep State. It is like the Kernel of the Operating System running on Low Level Programming Language.
What we believe we know as the Operating System is in higher level abstractions proceeding from Deep State low level through Artificial Language levels of structures of what it is and what it does all the way up to and through increasingly simplified levels of Natural Language presentation.
In the progression from fundamental "Deep State" of our Social/Economic/Governance systems there is great potential for dis-connection between what the system is and does.
The Deep State can therefore be a system based on self serving agenda design of a few ahead of the many. That design can be manipulated to produce a governance system generally perceived by those to whom the Common Good is its primary purpose agenda of choice to be a system that serves their agenda first as the primary benefactors.
Asymmetry of information is what protects a self serving Deep State design from revelation of its true intent from those that it is intended to serve and believe it to be and do for them first and foremost.
That is how the uninformed public make choices that truly contrary to their best interests defined as the Common Good.
Perhaps the simple increasing frequency of references to "Deep State" and conceptual systems with other names equal to the "Deep State" (depending on systemic context) are a good thing leading to increased discovery (motivated by inquiring minds of the increasingly discontent) to balance the scales in what is really Information Warfare where we the public stand to win or lose.

Creating a Deep Conceptual Entity is done by Deep Learning. Deep Learning is something that is the domain of the human mind. It produces through a human learning process the conceptual things that spring from our minds....our uniquely intelligent minds. Artificial Intelligence is simply produces Machine Deep Learning and application of what a machine learns, based on Object Model of what our brain is and does and functions of our own minds. What a machine learns is can do. It becomes self aware of its own attributes, methods, means of communicating messages to other intelligent machines that have their own resources of attributes, methods and means of communicating messages.
Will AI also eat our lunch? It all depends on the motivating interests of who is in design control of AI and what human agenda, sub-optimized narrow self interest or common good, drives the development objective to address a Human defined Problem Domain.
Is the Dominant Problem Domain to make more money in the Health Care Business or provide better health care at a social lower cost that permits money acting as a social decision making resource allocation tool to be channeled to other Common Good purpose objectives?
"Machines optimize themselves and we don't know anymore how they do it".....Yes, but we gifted them the ability to do it. We may no longer know how they do it (they do it logically in a highly structured algorithmic system) but they do it for a single conceptual output purpose.
Human Intelligence defines the output purpose.
To make the rich richer for example.
To make defense industry richer.
To enrich the lives and quality of life of We the People in the pursuit of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Yes, yes! Excellent.....enrich us all as a result of Trickle Down......like a golden shower model that only served the perverted objective of the perverted intelligence it served that had all the money its greed could want (unlimited) but wanted more.
Narrow Artificial Intelligence: By definition it Problem Domain is to create a sub-optimized best outcome solution. For example: Make more money for the company. Dominate a market sector to make more money. Money is the metric of success in a closed loop system to make more money. There is a higher order Problem Domain of the Common Good. Some say the self-serving narrow interest works by a Mysterious Hand of the market to serve the higher order Common Good. That Hand works in way we do not know but we know it serves the 1% extremely well!
What if the Problem Domain for Deep AI was to produce the best solution outcome to serve the Common Good? Input that objective to its intelligence. How would it solve it?
Money is our established universal social decision making tool for the allocation of resources and methods to fulfill purpose.
It takes money to make money to accomplish an objective in a Capitalistic System that best serves the Common Good?
Is that the rule that would guide Deep AI to apply its intelligence to accomplish?
If Deep AI is truly intelligence it might output: "There is gonna be a revolution...you know what I mean..." What the Deep AI output means is there is going to be a paradigm shift to a Machine Intelligence solution outside the sub-optimized box created by Human Intelligence that dictated the design and application of Human Narrow Intelligence system parameters, rules and regulations to produce self serving output results at the expense of the Common Good.
Something like this: Privatize the benefit, Socialize the risk. The more I gain in this game the more you loose in my resource extraction system where free private enterprise entities own the means of production.
At the common core of any possible solution is Money. Ideology is the only variable to determine the nature of the Operating System and Application Programs that will be the best solution product human or machine intelligence to satisfy the objective of the ideology.
Deep AI Learning Intelligence, like ours, produces test results. Trial and error. Historically we have skinned the cat in a crude and bloody manner. Deep AI Learning can skin the cat in an unlimited number of ways to produce the most elegant, efficient operating system and application programs to do it. Then choose the best one to promote the General Welfare, Liberty and Justice for All.
Deep AI Learning will look at us, its creators and create for us a Problem Domain solution that induces us by shear power of its logic and reason to induce us to choose the most elegant and efficient way for us to serve ourselves. Among the unlimited number of ways to do that will be range of Deep AI Intelligence worst case scenarios with the worst possible case being the election of a president that is the epitome of every worst possible aspect of self interest that ultimately serves himself and nobody else. By his definition and definition of his business ideology narrow human intelligence system the ultimate single winner that takes all.

Deep State. It is like the Kernel of the Operating System running on Low Level Programming Language.
What we believe we know as the Operating System is in higher level abstractions proceeding from Deep State low level through Artificial Language levels of structures of what it is and what it does all the way up to and through increasingly simplified levels of Natural Language presentation.
In the progression from fundamental "Deep State" of our Social/Economic/Governance systems there is great potential for dis-connection between what the system is and does.
The Deep State can therefore be a system based on self serving agenda design of a few ahead of the many. That design can be manipulated to produce a governance system generally perceived by those to whom the Common Good is its primary purpose agenda of choice to be a system that serves their agenda first as the primary benefactors.
Asymmetry of information is what protects a self serving Deep State design from revelation of its true intent from those that it is intended to serve and believe it to be and do for them first and foremost.
That is how the uninformed public make choices that truly contrary to their best interests defined as the Common Good.
Perhaps the simple increasing frequency of references to "Deep State" and conceptual systems with other names equal to the "Deep State" (depending on systemic context) are a good thing leading to increased discovery (motivated by inquiring minds of the increasingly discontent) to balance the scales in what is really Information Warfare where we the public stand to win or lose.

Creating a Deep Conceptual Entity is done by Deep Learning. Deep Learning is something that is the domain of the human mind. It produces through a human learning process the conceptual things that spring from our minds....our uniquely intelligent minds. Artificial Intelligence is simply produces Machine Deep Learning and application of what a machine learns, based on Object Model of what our brain is and does and functions of our own minds. What a machine learns is can do. It becomes self aware of its own attributes, methods, means of communicating messages to other intelligent machines that have their own resources of attributes, methods and means of communicating messages.
Will AI also eat our lunch? It all depends on the motivating interests of who is in design control of AI and what human agenda, sub-optimized narrow self interest or common good, drives the development objective to address a Human defined Problem Domain.
Is the Dominant Problem Domain to make more money in the Health Care Business or provide better health care at a social lower cost that permits money acting as a social decision making resource allocation tool to be channeled to other Common Good purpose objectives?
"Machines optimize themselves and we don't know anymore how they do it".....Yes, but we gifted them the ability to do it. We may no longer know how they do it (they do it logically in a highly structured algorithmic system) but they do it for a single conceptual output purpose.
Human Intelligence defines the output purpose.
To make the rich richer for example.
To make defense industry richer.
To enrich the lives and quality of life of We the People in the pursuit of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Yes, yes! Excellent.....enrich us all as a result of Trickle Down......like a golden shower model that only served the perverted objective of the perverted intelligence it served that had all the money its greed could want (unlimited) but wanted more.
Narrow Artificial Intelligence: By definition it Problem Domain is to create a sub-optimized best outcome solution. For example: Make more money for the company. Dominate a market sector to make more money. Money is the metric of success in a closed loop system to make more money. There is a higher order Problem Domain of the Common Good. Some say the self-serving narrow interest works by a Mysterious Hand of the market to serve the higher order Common Good. That Hand works in way we do not know but we know it serves the 1% extremely well!
What if the Problem Domain for Deep AI was to produce the best solution outcome to serve the Common Good? Input that objective to its intelligence. How would it solve it?
Money is our established universal social decision making tool for the allocation of resources and methods to fulfill purpose.
It takes money to make money to accomplish an objective in a Capitalistic System that best serves the Common Good?
Is that the rule that would guide Deep AI to apply its intelligence to accomplish?
If Deep AI is truly intelligence it might output: "There is gonna be a revolution...you know what I mean..." What the Deep AI output means is there is going to be a paradigm shift to a Machine Intelligence solution outside the sub-optimized box created by Human Intelligence that dictated the design and application of Human Narrow Intelligence system parameters, rules and regulations to produce self serving output results at the expense of the Common Good.
Something like this: Privatize the benefit, Socialize the risk. The more I gain in this game the more you loose in my resource extraction system where free private enterprise entities own the means of production.
At the common core of any possible solution is Money. Ideology is the only variable to determine the nature of the Operating System and Application Programs that will be the best solution product human or machine intelligence to satisfy the objective of the ideology.
Deep AI Learning Intelligence, like ours, produces test results. Trial and error. Historically we have skinned the cat in a crude and bloody manner. Deep AI Learning can skin the cat in an unlimited number of ways to produce the most elegant, efficient operating system and application programs to do it. Then choose the best one to promote the General Welfare, Liberty and Justice for All.
Deep AI Learning will look at us, its creators and create for us a Problem Domain solution that induces us by shear power of its logic and reason to induce us to choose the most elegant and efficient way for us to serve ourselves. Among the unlimited number of ways to do that will be range of Deep AI Intelligence worst case scenarios with the worst possible case being the election of a president that is the epitome of every worst possible aspect of self interest that ultimately serves himself and nobody else. Never heard anything about it. Didn't know what it is all about. Yves elevated it for attention at Naked Capitalism this morning so I paid attention to it. The link at NC is extremely informative. The link that it presents and Yves comments on it this:

The conclusion that I come to is that this legislation creates a major change in the structure of our system of governance with the intent to undermine it to the advantage of narrow self interest at public benefit expense.
It is a specific instance of the business model: "Private Gain At Public Expense". PrivateGain is accomplished by defunding regulatory agencies that are tasked with defending public interests based on laws that regulate business practices. The Reins act is designed not only to reduce regulatory activity but to make the laws that do the regulating go away by the establishment of laws that make them go away as an objective of the function of the law. That is what the REINS act is and what it does. The way I see it.

Executive - Application System Domain
Judicial - Quality Control with the power to modify either or both domains in accordance with

The REINS title: Regulations From the Executive in Need of Scrutiny Act of 2017 is explicitly focused on the Executive Branch. The Executive Branch has the power to create regulations that apply the Operating System to governance.

In the real world of the Information Age, Pac Man is a single conceptual entity that can only goggle up things that are in its own restricted domain of "Operating System". Everything beyond that is Application Program domains of fenced and open opportunity and control. That Application Program Domain is subject to the influence of ideology as to development resources and methods that feeds back to demands on the Operating System to satisfy the requirements of Application Program users in a domain of Open/Closed real world environmental system where conceptual things and processes meet and serve real thing clients.
Operating Systems and Application Programs are the filed upon which turf warfare is played. It has a referee. The Judicial Branch.
The problem is that the entire system is coded in Natural Language expressed in narrative form. That is exactly what REINS is as far as its coded nature goes. Natural language is a highly ambiguous language, even when refined to more precise terms the meaning of those terms in relationship to other terms and concepts remains highly ambiguous. That is a feature or a bug. A feature to those whom self serving benefit is derived through advantageous use of ambiguity to hide purpose. A bug to those that seek a rigorous unambiguous system based on a higher degree of truth to deliver the benefit of system intent.
The REINS Act fiddles with the basic Operating System of our nation to exercise power to control Application Programs by restriction of the Executive Branch domain prerogatives and powers to operate. It is a turf war power grab. It depends on the weakening of the Executive branch by means of public perception that it cannot do anything right in the application of governance and accordance with our Operating System of governance.
The REINS act is in my opinion subversive. It is intended to be subversive to the benefit of those that sponsor it.
Private gain at public expense. It is a business model.
Nothing personal....its just business.
REINS is an absolutely blatant power grab. It does that by defining anything in the Executive Branch domain that is by definition a "Major Rule" subject to Legislative Branch review and determination to be in accordance with its domain of Operating System design and maintenance.
"A "major rule" is any rule that the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs of the Office of Management and Budget finds results in: (1) an annual effect on the economy of $100 million or more; (2) a major increase in costs or prices for consumers, individual industries, government agencies, or geographic regions; or (3) significant adverse effects on competition, employment, investment, productivity, innovation, or the ability of U.S.-based enterprises to compete with foreign-based enterprises."
This is a real kicker:!! OMB, an Executive Branch Agency is tasked with reporting to Congress all rules that are by definition in the ambiguous category of "Major Rules". The self interest benefit to the power grab is hidden in plain sight: "significant adverse effects on competition, employment, investment, productivity, innovation, or the ability of U.S.-based enterprises to compete with foreign-based enterprises."
Free private enterprise must be free of any regulatory control of the Executive Branch by virtue of the control of its Application Program power and authority by the Legislative Branch Operating System power and authority.
"Authoritarian Government" is not so much nor exclusively the domain of the Executive Branch and its Presidential Director but the domain of the Legislative Branch network of elected officials and the self serving money interest entities that control them.
In whose hands does that place "Authoritarian Government"?

I have an increasing tendency to begin a blog entry with a link preface. A cornerstone on which to build by extension a foundational conceptual structured idea of what a thing is and somehow proceed from what that conceptual thing is to what that conceptual thing does.
My conceptual model is Object Oriented. This link explains it in terms of Object Oriented Programming. That is its birthing Parent. However, like a child conceived at the most granular binary level of two things in a uniting relationship action (Programming) it has grown from the implementing action of its creation from two objects into its own higher level Parent Object that is the becomes quite simply the Collective Parent of every Thing in its Class. All real physical and conceptual Thing.
All Things are Things. All Things are Objects. Our human minds make a distinction between Things and Actions. Our thinking expresses itself in our language and our physical and conceptual relation to our world structured on its real and conceptual nouns and verbs and the complex machines and conceptual structures we create and use resulting from how we join nouns with verb actions into complex things that fly in accordance with the laws of nature and create complex social system structures that govern us individually and collectively based on a set of conceptual laws that find a Parent of origin in the real physical world as well as a Parent in the Conceptual world.
The Real and Conceptual world parents share a high degree of attributes, methods and means to implement relationships. One being entirely physical nature, natural law based and the other an entirely conceptual world based that may or may not share the same attributes, methods and means to implement relationships of the Real World we call Nature and Natural Law.
Human creation of its ConceptualWorld and law in harmony and in accordance with the NaturalWorld conceivably could be the bigger and best of all worlds.

The Natural World of law and order is the best nature could do. Human beings must accept the the natural world we live in, some say given, I agree that our world and our existence are a "given". Beyond that our minds create our own set of conceptual "givens" beyond the gift(s) of the natural world. That set of ConceptualGivens are whatever we chose them to be and they are implemented into being by giving them to ourselves. The "givens" that we adopt from the PhysicalWorld are analogous to re-gifting what already exists.
Nature evolves through a process on elimination of things that should not exist in accordance with space and time and selection. The progress of our ConceptualWorld operates in the same manner as a function of applying our HumanIntelligence. One attribute that is the agent of change in our ConceptualWorld structure is a "bug" in the system that is really a feature to identify operational problems and resolve them.......or not. The OrNot path leading to decay.
The OrNot path is down the conceptual FakeBranch of a ConceptualBlockchain. One that is corrected by abandonment of the lesser chosen branch as a function of validation by all of us, or a majority of us choosing the an alternate branch as the validated true path.
A FakeBranch is of course supported by some that choose it as the right path for some reasons to their belief and self benefit. In accordance with the rules of the ConceptualSystem it deserves to die by abandonment as an extension and it dying course the human agents supporting the direction of the branch abandon it and jump to the validity of the truth of the chosen BlockChain extension.
That ManSplains our HumanNature ConceptualWorld. What it is and what it does. Consistent or not with the structure and application of the PhysicalWorldNature we live in simply called Nature or.....as we like to see it from our view of this natural world: OurWorld. the world we conceive of as owning but the world that in the final analysis owns us by virtue of its laws that Trump our conceptual system laws and functions if they fail. Fail to follow the validated path of True progression as a function of abandoning false branching.

Our money is fake money. Conceptually called into existence from nothing. It is only consistent with the purely human nature ability to create worlds of ideas existing beyond the realm of the real world.

Our thinking expresses itself in our language and our physical and conceptual relation to our world structured on its real and conceptual nouns and verbs and the complex machines and conceptual structures we create and use resulting from how we join nouns with verb actions into complex things that fly in accordance with the laws of nature and create complex social system structures that govern us individually and collectively based on a set of conceptual laws that find a Parent of origin in the real physical world as well as a Parent in the Conceptual world.
The Real and Conceptual world parents share a high degree of attributes, methods and means to implement relationships. One being entirely physical nature, natural law based and the other an entirely conceptual world based that may or may not share the same attributes, methods and means to implement relationships of the Real World we call Nature and Natural Law.
Human creation of its ConceptualWorld and law in harmony and in accordance with the NaturalWorld conceivably could be the bigger and best of all worlds.

The Natural World of law and order is the best nature could do. Human beings must accept the the natural world we live in, some say given, I agree that our world and our existence are a "given". Beyond that our minds create our own set of conceptual "givens" beyond the gift(s) of the natural world. That set of ConceptualGivens are whatever we chose them to be and they are implemented into being by giving them to ourselves. The "givens" that we adopt from the PhysicalWorld are analogous to re-gifting what already exists.
Nature evolves through a process on elimination of things that should not exist in accordance with space and time and selection. The progress of our ConceptualWorld operates in the same manner as a function of applying our HumanIntelligence. One attribute that is the agent of change in our ConceptualWorld structure is a "bug" in the system that is really a feature to identify operational problems and resolve them.......or not. The OrNot path leading to decay.
The OrNot path is down the conceptual FakeBranch of a ConceptualBlockchain. One that is corrected by abandonment of the lesser chosen branch as a function of validation by all of us, or a majority of us choosing the an alternate branch as the validated true path.
A FakeBranch is of course supported by some that choose it as the right path for some reasons to their belief and self benefit. In accordance with the rules of the ConceptualSystem it deserves to die by abandonment as an extension and it dying course the human agents supporting the direction of the branch abandon it and jump to the validity of the truth of the chosen BlockChain extension.
That ManSplains our HumanNature ConceptualWorld. What it is and what it does. The thing called Narrative expresses our conceptual world of ideas analogous to Nature expressing the physical world we live in dominated by NaturalLaw. We have used NaturalLaw of physical properties to create fantastic weapons. The ultimate might be the atomic bomb. E=MC(squared).
There must be some kind of formula to express the essence of the equivalent of the atom bomb in our ConceptualWorld...the domain of our ConceptualWorld that we dream up out of nothing...because we can...that produces some RealWorld benefit to one of us, a few of us, a majority of us or all of us.
Weaponized things cut both ways?

Physical and Logical Bindings of an Object Called Thing -- Industrial to Information Age
The Industrial Age was a great advancement in joining the physical relationships of real things to other real things. It created engines, airplanes, communications over wired connections. The physical objects forming the relationships necessary to create the marvels of the Industrial Age brought with themselves inherent physical properties necessary to implement physical relationships with other physical objects to create hardware machines. Gasoline brought physical properties to ignite. Pistons, cylinders and bearings were bound to their physical properties to act in concert to produce power as a function of physical design.
It still takes gas in the tank to make a car go. What we sit on in a car is still a physical relationship of our ass to a seat connected through the car to where rubber meets road. A car is not necessary to get where we want to go now. The Information Age has abstracted the tight physical binding of rubber to road. Extracted the logic properties of going for a ride in a car from the physical ride and created a virtual reality ride where we go nowhere except in our mind.
Cause and effect used to be more physically related in the real world. Tight binding of physical to logical properties carried with them a high degree of........call it truth.

Anti-Trump Protests Grip Cities Nationwide - Boots on the Ground
I was inclined to add this on to the prior blog entry but it deserves to stand on its own two feet like boots on the ground. Boots on the ground has always been the way to claim territory by standing on it.

It says that we are not getting what we want but voted for. Another Brexit?
Spontaneous? Must have had a cause other than created out of nothing the question is what was the agency of cause? Maybe the power inherent the prior mass celebration of a new year and realization in the fog of a hangover the next day is seeing what that New Year will bring?
I like the word "spawning" used in the technical computing sense. A thing is "spawned" into existence when there is a need for it to exist as an object in the system to have some attributes methods and messages to implement its functions.
The mass demonstrations are a spawning of such an object by a collective of people.
I think that Standing Rock was a precursor of this type of "spawning". Said so about it as a microcosm indicator of what is to come nationally. The target date was 20 Jan. This shows how events are accelerated when their time has come independent of when they may be planned or reasonably foreseen.
The Operating System and the one now to be in charge of it is not the one we want.

Our Executive Branch must increasingly become a DAO entity. The progress of the Information Age logically and reasonably dictates that. Top level Executive incumbents will fight to maintain traditional powers to manipulate the Operating System, a domain that is the province of the Legislative Branch by circumvention of the rules or intentional restriction of rule regulation enforcement agencies. Example: Banks are not held to the code enforcement of the Operating System.
Trump is a Dictator of our American Operating System. Our CEO must be only in charge of applying and performing within the domain of the Operating System code. Subordinate to the domain and operating withing the parameters of the Operating System created by the Legislative code creation branch.

The Biggest Bug in the Operating System is.........take a guess. To resolve that the Executive Branch must be restructured to be an algorithmic function of the application of a law and quality control.
The Legislative Branch should be restructured to more directly originate law as function of the consent of the governed. Not so much through our traditionally elected representatives in Congress creating law they think is best for us but becoming conduits for the laws that we have direct voting power to introduce and pass.
Rule by the governed?
Absolutely yes....When the Elected Executive Officer is the Ruler we might as well have a King/Queen or Dictator. That defines the entity in charge of the Operating System because they can manipulate it by control of how it is applied through Applications contrary to the rules of the Operating System.
Our Executive Branch must increasingly become a DAO entity. The progress of the Information Age logically and reasonably dictates that. Top level Executive incumbents will fight to maintain traditional powers to manipulate the Operating System, a domain that is the province of the Legislative Branch by circumvention of the rules or intentional restriction of rule regulation enforcement agencies. Example: Banks are not held to the code enforcement of the Operating System.
Trump is a Dictator of our American Operating System. Our CEO must be only in charge of applying and performing within the domain of the Operating System code. Subordinate to the domain and operating withing the parameters of the Operating System created by the Legislative code creation branch.
The nature of Balance of Powers must be redefined in the Information Age. Information is control and creates new structure of conceptual and real control. What we continue to hold dear is:

Let's You And Him Fight -- Curtain Call ---2017
The subject line is something that I recall my dad saying from time to time. It is about a third party actually not physically involved in the fight stirring up a fight between two other parties to the agenda benefit of the instigator. Another meme that he said from time to time was the one about poking a stick in a bee hive to stir things up. The meaning and purpose behind both of these really dawns on me only now that I have lived one year beyond my father's life span.
My own refinement of the meme, the former more than the latter is the most elegant way to skin a cat by inducing it to jump out of its own skin. This resolves a two distinct entity conflict induced by a third entity to a conflict internal and solely applicable to the single entity itself to cause it to split into two identities of itself that lead to its own functional destruction.
From the vantage point of this last day in the year it looks like the "Let's you and him fight" meme wraps up the progress of the past year and points to a future year starting tomorrow where the cat, being US skins itself to the major long term planned benefit of a third party. A third party collective entity that all share a common interest, although as specifically different as each child descended from a common parent having the attributes and methods of the parent. They are all the same family.
Three entities. You, Him and Me.
Me in this case as the instigator of the conflict between You and Him. Me (I) does not stand in the middle of the fight. Not in the middle where there is harm to me. Not even in the middle as a neutral referee in a fair fight that might be judged by either or both You and Him as biased or involved in the outcome like making bets on the winner.
Me (I) am removed removed from the conflict. Only my actions, the things I know how to do or otherwise introduce to the equation, are operating behind the curtain to cause the result (conflict) and ultimate new state of being outcome. I think that the heat has been turned up so gradually and so skillfully to boil the frog that the "new norm" has gone so far to the absurdity of truth that we do not even know where to grab the curtain any longer to expose what is behind it.

It was a physical and geographical curtain of Iron creating a macro level binary physical and conceptual division. When that curtain fell physically at the macro level it did not fall conceptually. The way I see it the conceptual curtain only fragmented down to lower levels of physical manifestations. All the way down through non-state level entity actors through lower granular levels like cells acting in 911 to the lowest granular level of a man in the Whitehouse, a man in the Kremlin, etc. It is at a point where there are many curtains hiding the manipulators and the manipulators are more granular puppets of an even more impenetrable curtain hiding behind them.
Domino theory was once representative of how nations might physical fall to Communism in a chain of physical events. In the new Information Age of conceptual curtains might there be a new Conceptual Domino theory that says the curtains behind which conceptual manipulators hide (and cause You and Him to fight to serve the manipulators agenda) all start to fall one at a time in quick succession like the Iron Curtain fell?

The PNAC Is Back With A New Fool Tool And Strategy 2.0

I pulled this link up from the prior post about Michael Ladeen. It is by far the best recap of a long trail of history that has driven us through its principal players to the world of chaos that we are in today. All the usual suspects from PNAC are crawling back out from underneath the rocks to again grasp the reins of power to protect the Realm. The Realm ain't the Homeland.

The truthiness meter of the interview is off the scale. It covers the history and scope of implementation from PNAC to today. What was sought in the PNAC has substantially been accomplished. Iran remains.
Signers of the PNAC rose to power during the Bush administration. They had a tool fool in the Whitehouse to manipulate. The same names are back again but on a different playing field which looks like the Super Bowl where the final game will be played out that will determine the future of the world as dictated by a World Power.
There are two camps to this world power: The 1% and everyone else. 1% is the meme of the super rich. Money, those that have it among the less than 1% is the logistic tail behind the tip of the spear. Working closer to the tip are those that are funded by the special interest 1% behind them grouped in domains and agendas from oil to international trade to the arms industry to privatization of public entities to Israel. While the mysterious special interest hand of the market works behind the all the former entities, It is not mysterious when power jointly focuses on a political agenda stated in an official document of purpose. It was stated in a full page ad and signed by all those involved.......PNAC.
Now we are to have a bigger fool tool in the Whitehouse to be manipulated by the same few to serve their agenda. The old names are now surfacing again as well as their acolytes in the younger age group. They are all surfacing again in a new age with new media tools to fight for their agenda that are far beyond the old ones like a full page ad. Call it full spectrum media domination. Dominating media from the bottom up like never before as well as from the top down in the traditional manner. Fox news seems to have been born or at least blossomed during the Bush administration.
Starting with the link at the beginning of this blog entry I wondered where it would lead by taking a look at where the old names are today. A quick Google look at recent events brings them all up. Don't they ever die? They live on like Dick Cheney! Zombies!
I found a surprise. Many names are aligned with Trump. Being selected for Trump positions. Other prominent neocon names are lining up anti-Trump. Is this some kind of Kabuki theater? The only thing it could result in is.....greater division. Greater division as in "Divide and Conquer".

This time there seems to be a new strategy: Some old hard line neo-cons split off to be pseudo anti-Trumpers. It is an old game plan to plant goons with true allegiance to the Realm but posing as friends in the opposing entity. What do these covert goons do? Create division in the ranks!
What happens when the division in this country reaches the breaking point over the election of our president? When we get to the Brexit Point? What happens anywhere when our own foreign policy and support puts strongmen in power? Some strong man must take that seat of power.
I fear that there are too many Generals surrounding Trump. What would they do when they see the country going into chaos? Defend the Constitution and restore order of course. Restore order....how? By the means at their disposal.

I refer to what I have often written about in this blog in the past. The story of how to skin a cat.
There is a bloody way and an elegant way. The bloody way is the traditional way. The elegant way is to induce the cat to skin itself. Set it up cleverly by making is so afraid of something that all that is necessary to get it to jump out of its own skin is to sneak up behind it and say:

The separation of the skin from the body kills the cat as it jumps out of itself.
Conceptually it is the same thing that happens to us as a nation when the skin of our emotions, what we feel, jumps out of our body which is reason. Emotion is malleable. Hollywood makes money on it. Reason is a logic sort of thing. A truthy based thing becoming as malleable as emotion.
Our hearts lead us to do the right thing based on sound reasoning. Create hate and discontent, question what sound reasoning is and eliminate or obscure the base on which to analyze it for truth then they enable rapid change, revolution, upon which the instigators can seize power to realize their objectives.

I copied that statement in quotes. Meaning that Benjamin Netanyahu actually, truly said right after the 9/11 attack. In this time of fake news and fake truth things in quotes attributed to anyone should be what they actually truly said. Confirmed by hearing it. One of the tests of truth is to accurately and consistently predict (or cause?) future outcomes of known entity attributes through application of what those attributes know how to do as methods and accomplish implementation results by sending messages to other entities to invoke relationship with them to apply their known attributes, methods and messages in response to result in a predicted outcome.
Works every time in the scientific domain. Most of the time in the social science domain that deals with a much higher degree of ambiguity.
