Big Data Is More Than The Sum Of Its Silos In Relationship To Privacy

This prior blog entry looked at the government requirement for agencies (like FHFA) to make reports required by the US Code law when their data bases related to privacy matters expanded significantly.  Agencies have silo data bases that they report on.  Silo is so old school.  Big Data grows bigger across organizational "agency" boundaries in government or boundaries defined by business entity.  Collaboration is the term that applies.

In the big picture of Privacy, The government, the NSA for example, is a higher level silo.  The other big silo of "Big Data"?  The private sector.  I could diverge here into the semantics of "Private" and "Privacy" but one of the big conceptual divisions of this world like black and white is Public and Private.

When Public and Private sectors collaborate on their own silo domains of Big Data and share and connect on key data elements then "Big Data" gets to be "Really Big Data".

Maybe what is needed to get a real picture on the expansion of privacy data that is a substantial change in total government Big Data privacy related information is an new US Code law requiring the reporting in the Federal Register every contracted privacy related information sharing agreement with Big Data in the private sector as well as intra sharing among silos in the governmental sector.

"Big Data is more than the sum of its silos."
I hereby claim the preceding word phrase to be my own original word order creation expressing a specific conceptual application of the broader "more than the sum of" word phrase (author unknown).  I claim all bragging rights to first entry of my phrase creation in the searchable Google Big Data Base the proof of which may be tested by clicking on the link that establishes the truth of this claim.

I should make the following a blog entry so I can simply link to it and add it to all prior such claims to my original creations of word phrases that did not previously exist in Google Big Data.

And furthermore:

I hereby claim bragging rights to this phrase:  "big data is more than the sum of its silos in relationship to privacy" as a fundamental conceptually high level information engineering Object Oriented Super Class Object relationship expression between the Super Class Object: "Big Data" and the Unique Instance Object of its collective class called "Silo Object".  SubClass: "Government Silo Object" being identified as a uniquely registered government agency Data Base.  That phrase has never previously been indexed by Google.

The Reservoir of Data
A graphic from the link which looks at silos as water tanks that is worth a thousand words in the text (which is well worth reading).
