Faith and Trust in Our Elected Officials is Broken - We the People Will Restore It

Building Bridges together based on consensus in face of conflict.

Bend is Central Oregon.  The heart of Oregon that prospered  on the abundance of nature..  The harvest of timber once drove the economic engine of Bend and provided timber for building a pioneer state.  New diversified economic engines now drive the development of Bend and Central Oregon.  Leading edge technology and independent innovative entrepreneurs bring jobs that continue to invigorate our economy.  Athletes and artists come to Bend and bring vigor and beauty.

The beauty of nature abounds in Bend.  A beauty to be protected as well as enjoyed by all its citizens.  It is the consensus of all stakeholders in our city that balances the protection of nature and its environment with the enjoyment of the all the activities it offers.

It is a a civic responsibility and obligation to plan and manage our community and natural environment urban interface in a manner that does not degrade it by the pressures of growth expansion at its boundaries.

The Old Mill is now a New Mill.  A bridge across the Deschutes River connects it to a center of art and entertainment.  Beyond that the Bill Healy Bridge honors his vision and efforts.

Crossing it takes us up to Century Drive

Beneath the bridge it is a hiking trail up the Deschutes to a bridge that returns on the other side.
