Elizabeth Warren: Better, But Not there Yet
He wants courageous specific actions, like he proposes for monetary problems. Comments suggest the place Elizabeth is at. A political tightrope. She is a politician but one that I think will "thought lead" not be thought managed by influence other than the best interest of the public I hope she will one day serve as our president.
What Joe wrote about Elizabeth could also be written about Pope Francis and his letter to G20: Pope To G20: 'Unbridled Consumerism' Damages The Planet.
Joe says "Let's get it done". With faith in those that we believe can get it done, (Hope and Change?) this is how it is done. Hope is wishing on a star. Well founded faith substantiated by expressed honesty about the present condition is something more substantial than buying into hope that has burned us.
I know where you want to go Joe, I am impatient to get there too but realistically, this is how we get there with people we support and believe in.
How many divisions does the Pope command?
With statements like this I think the answer is a few more today than yesterday.
Ditto for what Elizabeth is saying.
In the Michener book Centennial the Indian Chief drove a stake into the ground outside a rival tribe's camp one morning waking the camp and its leader. Then he tied his leg to the stake with a tether. He stood his ground and shouted out his presence. Their was no retreat. His tribe was behind him in the bushes. It would defend his stand. He challenged the rival Chief (bad guy called Rude Water) to count coup upon him.
That is courage and conviction of leadership. It calls upon courageous support.
Hillary Clinton is dabbling in populism but we know in which camp she has staked herself out to take a stand.
