Going Granular is a Point of Entry to the Problem Domain

The Tech lobby to address the Point of Entry to the Finance Problem Domain is a top level entry.

The bottom up point of entry and one that will knock out the foundation of the legacy Finance System is going Granular.  Hitting below the belt of the Finance system where Finance, a below the belt expert hitter, has no way to go.  The lowest level of structure that Finance can go to and deliver its punch is the Account level.

Money is just a number subject to math manipulations at the Account level in the legacy Finance system.

Floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee:

Go one step lower to money at the granular level of a single discretely identified digital unit of value with its own independent attributes in a separate Object Class from the Object Class of Account but related directly to the aggregate number of total dollar value expressed by Account.

It pulls the "Moneyness" out of Account to float independently in a block chain of ownership at the discrete unit value of one with knowledge of what account owns it as one unit of value in the total of all on hand units called Account Balance.

The Finance system does not fall down.  It simply has a better more granular base that Finance did not go down to.  Didn't want to go down to because it blows away some smoke and mirrors of the balance sheet accounting system.

That is exactly where Tech takes over finance.  Grab them by the discrete unit value of medium of exchange (computers handle trillions of units well) and their hearts and minds will follow.

Ownership of the Units of the Monetary System brings honesty to ownership of Account containers holding units of Money.  They are the ball of the game that the Owners of the system of Accounts do not own.  Every single dollar in the Account total must trace to a single discretely identified unit of value one dollar in the Monetary Currency System.  The grand total of all dollars in each system must be equal.

The legacy Finance system can't go there.  It is not in its structural design.

Tech can go there easily for a better system.
